Brent Davis

I taught Mathematics at Huntland Middle School for 9 years, now I take care of middle and high school ISD. During my time at Huntland, I have been the head middle school baseball coach and assistant high school football coach. This is why most of the students at Huntland refer to me as “Coach B”.

I am now the head high school baseball coach for Huntland High School. This was a goal for me from the beginning of my teaching career. I always wanted to return to the field where I put in many hours as a player.

            I have been married for 10 years to Mrs. Brook Davis, who is also an educator at Huntland. We are both graduates of Huntland. We have two beautiful daughters, 7 and 3 years old. I graduated Middle Tennessee State University, where I earned an Interdisciplinary Studies degree with an Emphasis in Mathematics. I also obtained my Master's in Administration from Tennessee State University. I started a drone program at Huntland that is connected to the STREAM program. Through this program, I work with both middle and high school students. I work closely with the high school STREAM teacher on introducing students to all kinds of new technology from robots to 3-D printers.

            I enjoy spending time with family and friends during my free time. Some of my hobbies include fishing, riding my daughters in the jeep, and taking the boat out for a relaxing evening on the lake with family.
